Big news: NextVolt is officially live in Texas!
We’ve entered the ERCOT market this April, bringing our commitment to honest pricing, great service, and real customer loyalty to millions of Texans — and we couldn’t be more excited.
So, what’s ERCOT? It’s the independent system that manages most of the electric grid in Texas, and it’s one of the most competitive energy markets in the country. For retail energy providers like us, it’s a huge opportunity — and a big responsibility. We’re here to compete, but more importantly, we’re here to earn trust.
“In the past year, NextVolt has created a brand, developed a scalable platform for customer acquisition, entered or are about to enter 5 new states, and built its internal processes and procedures to grow the business aggressively over the next 5 years,” said Cullen Hay, President of NextVolt. “Market expansion into DC, NJ, PA along with our launch in Texas will increase our company size overnight and begin to march NV toward being a formidable competitive retailer.”
We’ve got big goals — and big heart.
At NextVolt, our mission is rooted in doing right by our customers. That means no gimmicks, no hidden fees, and a serious focus on clear communication and quick conflict resolution. We know loyalty goes both ways — and we’re committed to showing up for our customers, every day.
“The NextVolt brand has to stand for loyalty and trustworthiness,” Cullen says. “We reward customer loyalty by showing our loyalty to them: through honest pricing, clear communication, quick conflict resolution, and a universal ethos of always being helpful.”
This mindset isn’t just talk — it’s backed by real people doing great work.
A huge thank you goes to Keith Dezern, our SVP of Digital Sales & Operations, who led the transformation of our digital platform — making it easier than ever to grow efficiently and serve customers better. And shoutout to Meagan Eure, our VP of Digital Operations & Retention, and her team for building and training a customer care group that’s setting the bar for one-call resolutions and customer satisfaction.
With Texas now part of the NextVolt family, and more launches coming soon in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Washington D.C., we’re growing fast — and always staying true to what matters most: our customers.Want to see what we’re about? Check out our plans.
